What’s a citation? Any business listing online can count as a citation. You can place them anywhere, but if you care about them staying there, it’s best to place them on a directory.
What is this list? This is a list of business directories that cater directly or indirectly to photographers. We’ve picked this list through our own experimentation with different options. What’s here isn’t the complete list we use for our clients, but it should be enough to help you get started.
How do I use the list? Follow the links and create the profiles. It doesn’t get any more complicated than that. It is really important that you verify all information before you create each profile, but as long as you don’t introduce errors, you should see a fast and effective change in your position.
